Parent-led vs. staff-led
Parent-led: The kit links to your community's signup page. Families click and join directly. Share in closed channels: group chats, private Facebook groups, org email lists.
Staff-led: There's no community-wide join link. Access is invite-only, gated by roster verification. The kit links to your interest form instead (a Google Form, website registration page, or whatever you already use). Paste it once and every template updates. The kit handles awareness and collects interest; once you've verified families against your roster, the portal sends each one a personal invitation.
